Should You Have The Same Style Of Designer Radiator In Every Room In Your Home?

Designer radiators have proved that something as simple and as essential as a radiator doesn’t have to be boring. Many designer radiators are very eye catching and can almost take the place of a piece of modern art, such is the attractiveness of the design.

So you may have arrived at the stage where you are seriously considering buying one or more designer radiators for your home. But here is the question that may already have crossed your mind. Should you buy the same design for every room, or should you buy something different in each case?

It largely depends on what effect you are trying to create in each room. For example, for the bathroom you might want something that looks more industrial. This sits nicely with bare white floor tiles and white tiled walls. This is just an example of course, but it just goes to show you what can be done with these radiators and how they can fit in to an existing scheme.

In this case you probably wouldn’t want this type of designer radiator in your bedroom or dining room as well. You might want something softer or slightly different in this type of situation, so it is wise to bear in mind how you want each room to look and feel.

Of course some styles of designer radiator come in more than one size. You might be able to get long thin ones as well as ones than are more rectangular in appearance.

There is nothing wrong with having a completely different style of radiator in each room of the house though. In fact designer radiators lend themselves more easily to this than some other more basic styles of radiator do. This is because each one is an art form in itself. You can buy these radiators in shockingly bright colours made from single panels; they can be stainless steel in design; they could have holes and shapes cut into them; in short there are lots of different combinations and designs you could have.

This is why it actually looks very nice to have something completely different in each room. Each one can be chosen to fit in with the colour scheme and design of the room it will be going in, so you don’t have to try and hide it. Instead it can be something eye catching for all the right reasons!

Different designs also look better if they aren’t within sight of each other. If you have two radiators positioned very close together then it can look a little odd. The only exception would be if they were different sizes of the same design – or of course, exactly the same.

So think about the different options you have available if you are considering having some designer radiators installed in your home. If you can find the right combination then you can enjoy a different design in each room – and make a completely different statement with each and every one!
